What are the best rides to go on at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida? Why?

There are two parks that compose the Universal Orlando Resort: Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. I am assuming that you are planning to visit both parks.
At Universal Studios, my favourite rides are Back the the Future (the first major path left of the entrance) and The Mummy (which was King Kong until recently). Back to the Future is exceedingly enjoyable simply because of the Professor himself (who stars in the attraction) and because of the original way in which the ride operates to create the three-dimensional feel. I(f you are in the back of one of the cars, you can sometimes get a glimpse of the genius of how the thing operates.) The Mummy packs a ton of thrills into a relatively small space and includes some effects that will leave you breathless (such as fire burning on the ceiling). The new evening spectacular Universal 360 which can be viewed anywhere around the lagoon, promises to be quite an event.
At Islands of Adventure (which I consider to be the best park in Orlando for pure value and attraction-per-square-foot), boasts some real treats. My very favourite ride there is the Dueling Dragons Fire and Ice roller coasters. The tunnel route you must walk to reach the coasters themselves is very amusing, but the ride is an incredible rush! When you reach the end of the line, you must choose if you will ride Fire or Ice. Ice is the milder of the two, so I recommend that first. (You'll want to come back for another go--trust me!)
The Spiderman ride has non-stop thrills and effects that will leave you wondering if you actually remained in the building for the duration of the ride! Due to the complexity of this attraction, however, it seems to often break down, so be prepared to be given a voucher to skip the line for another try.
The Incredible Hulk is also another of my favourites, and it does everything seemingly possible to confuse your body and give you soaring sensations in a very short time before letting you off!
What really pleases me about the parks, however, is the food and the atmosphere. If you're looking for fast food, be sure to eat at the Burger Digs at the Pavillion. You can eat with a great view on the balcony overlooking the lagoon. (Favor the chicken over the burger as the latter seems to come out dry occaisionally.) If you have more time, Thunder Falls Terrace is not-to-be-missed! Great food and an unbeatable atmosphere make this a one-of-a-kind treat!

Hope this helps. Have anymore questions, visit my website http://bcchase.com and email me!

The Mummy at the studios and The Hulk at Islands. Can't beat them. Stay at one of their hotels and get the express pass included in your ticket and you can ride without wait as many times as you want. The express pass that you buy will only get you one ride per ride.

I like "Back to the Future", "Jaws" and "Earthquake". They are realistic, fun and don't have too much time waiting in "Anterooms".

The way to do it now is to buy the pass to get at the front of the lines. I forget what it's called, but you could do all the rides in one day that way.
