with science the way it is probably in this life time is a good answer... you must think that scientists must do research for over 10 years to see if it is safe then build a ship to hold a person that will go the distance... It is still a long ways away but if you are young then in your life time is still the best answer possible

I believe it would take longer to put a man on the moon today than it did after Kennedy's speech in the early 60s. Even longer for Mars. It is not a technology issue, it is that must have the will and desire. We have lost that as a nation. It does not provide the instant personal gratification that young people see these days.

man on mars what about women, do you have any idea how many years you just put back the womens movement. Hey mabye if they send a women up there, (a hot one) man will get up there quicker its really the only reason we attempt to do anything to pull chicks
