Tigers and not because of this year. One of the original teams, rich history.

Classiest franchises have nothing to do with moving...
The Yanks have not ALWAYS bought their teams..remember that in the 80s..the Yanks were not as they are now..they went without several times...
I would still say that the A's and Braves have some AMAZING class to the point that their fans are very much behind their team whether they win or not...but the rivalry between the Dodgers and Giants continues whether they are in New York or Los Angeles..
I have to ask you as well...The Orioles won in 1983, The White Sox took forever to win as well as the Red Sox...both curses ended in the last 2 yrs...Indians got to the Fall Classic a few times in the 90s...Pirates? They were great in the 70s and I like the Pirates but..out of the teams that you have listed...I would have to say the Tigers...although having lived in Los Angeles and having the Dodgers to cheer for...you get the understanding that whether you are at Ebbets or Chavez Ravine...you are at the best stadium in the country for a ball game. I have been to several stadiums and none give the same feeling..

That's a little unfair. The Dodgers have rebuilt their image in the years the've been in LA, becoming one of the most beloved teams in baseball. This after being villified for leaving Brooklyn. In addition, some of the most loyal and classy players have played for the newer teams (relativly speaking) enhancing the stock of my AL team, the Minnesota Twins.
The Phillies are on the skids, the Cards are all messed up, the Tigers are perennial also-rans, the White Sox were handed last years series (although this year they're actually looking like a WS team) and should fall into the same category as the "Red Sox taking too long to win...", and the Pirates... they are still allowed to play?! Thank god Pittsburgh still has the Steelers... Looks like if I have to pick one of your choices I have to take the Orioles, but they could let it all unravel here in the post-Ripken era...

First off I don't understand what would be classy about the Whitesox. I am not a Cardinal fan, yet I have been to a few of their home games and that city, that atmosphere is what baseball is all about. It's pure. Kind of a magical buzz on the street before the games. No vulgarity from fans that I noticed, unlike a visit I had at both Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park where the fans acted as if they belonged in a state instituation. A great baseball friendly and fan friendly atmosphere.

Given the list, I would say the Cardinals. Definitely not the Orioles, who have their St. Louis Browns history behind them. But I question the premise of the question, as others also have. And I do think that teams with 44-45 years behind them do have a history. On that basis, the only thing that disqualifies the Angels is this "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim" nonsense.
[The Phillies are automatically disqualified due to the "boo birds".]

Well my vote goes to the Pittsburgh Pirates. They were the example franchise in the 70's prior to free agency and big spending. Their fans have been loyal supporters through what appears to be their 14th consecutive losing season. Many people (including those on ESPN) have said PNC Park is the most beautiful stadium in MLB, and if you had been there you would be hard pressed to disagree. You feel like you are part of the city when you are there!:)

Hmm I like the Orioles and Tigers alot. All these teams are good ones. I do think the Reds, Cubbies and Indians should be on here. Indians fan and Cubbies fans are the most loyal and cheer more than many of the others. They occasionally have good teams. They will never be my favorite though.
Id choose Orioles I guess.

A ballpark really impacts the fans, and the Phillies new place is awesome.
Mets, as underdogs of the century, are classy in their ability to ride the tide until a good year.

Haha white sox classy. Thats some kind of joke right. out of those you list it is the cardinals barely beating out the tigers. Although the criteria is pretty weird and skewed.
