well i have 4 kids of my own and all of my kids had the same lump sometimes for a mounth or more the pediatrition told me it was normal cause of the needle being put into the babys new muscles if its an allergy it would cause a bright red rash that would cover a fairly large area.

Just a lump where the shot was sounds like they bruised the muscle..it should go away. An allergy would have symptoms like fever, rash, ect... She'll be fine

Sometimes when babies get shots they get lumps in the shotarea. If youre really worried call your baby's doctor during regular hours and talk to him/her. You can put a warm compress there and massage the area, thats always recommended. And watch for any other reactions such as rashes and fever.

Usually its normal to have a bump where you get your shot but the bump usually last from a few hours to a couple days after shots. I would contact your babies Dr just to be sure that its okay.

Sounds like its just an irritation from the shot. My kids had them too. But, if in doubt, you can call the nurse and tell them about it and they can make a decision to see your child. Better safe than sorry you know!

have you tried massaging the lump to see if it was just a knot in the muscle. my daughter had that but it was just from the needle.
if you still are skeptical about what it is call the dr.
