Hes been tied to a lot of controversies through out his career and teams dont like playing against him because he occasionally does unorthidox things that change the outcome of games. He also taunts opposing players to try to get under their skin. For as advertised it is that hes hated I can say that myself, as a white sox fan, that I couldnt be happier that he is on the team. I also think he is a well deserved all star and does a lot offensively and defensively to help his team win.

An average player whp runs his mouth like he is Babe Ruth. I can think of 10 catchers in MLB I'd take over him--probally more if it was worth my time.

He's a guy who likes to say what's on his mind. He also loves media attention. That's a couple of reasons why no one likes him.

like him or not, he's a darn good baseball player and thats all that matters.
