You'll be having a lot more exams in the next couple of months. When your at the doctor you have the right to know what they are doing. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Thats what they get paid to do. Ask them to explain the procedures as they are performing them so that you have an understanding of whats going on.

No, it will not hurt your baby. At that stage in your pregnancy your baby is not even a fetus yet. The baby is not a fetus until the end of your eight week.
Not to mention during your pregnancy your Dr will be pushing on your stomach to measure and feel your uterus.

No, they are measuring the size of your uterus and the size of the baby. It's a very normal thing. It assures whether you can deliver vaginally or if they need to do a C-section. They also are making sure the baby is developing normally by its size and position.

I really dont think it would, women get in car accidents with their seat belts on and the seat belt puts alot of pressure on a mothers stomach and the children are ok.
I would worry more about falling on my rear than pressure on your stomach. Good luck with having the baby!!!! Enjoy motherhood

It's fine. You may also experience a light spotting after future exams. This is also normal.

They have to make sure that your baby is not ectopic, which is growing in your fallopian tube. If your baby is ectopic, you have to have it removed.
