When all the damage we have done to the world accumulates and combines with the war that mankind is prepared to wage against itself. Once we have been ravaged by these effects, perhaps we will see the folley of our ways and do things differently

I think when national identity and religious identity and language identity have become far less important than they are at present --- it will mean that most people awake to the reality that all humans are 'family' and have far more in common than separates them.
