It's interesting to consider that the sun was actually in the constellation of leo when you were born ... an almanac confirms this. Western (tropical) astrology is about 24 degrees out of sync with the real sky as used by eastern (sidereal) astrologers. The astrological dates given for the sun signs were correct in the third century, but nowadays the sun enters Aries around April 14, and all 12 signs have correspondedly shifted. The Greeks came to think that the beginning of spring marked the beginning of Aries. It happened to be true back then. Indian astrologers will usually consider your moon and rising sign more important anyway.

the last day of leo is 8/22 .. the first say of virgo is 8/23. therefore, you are a virgo. the reason that you may act leo is because, depending on your birth minute and location, leo is possibly your rising sign.

Most people who were born on the cusp of 2 signs usually have traits of each sign, but act more like one than the other. For instance, my sister-in-law's birthday is May 21, which is on the cusp of Taurus and Gemini. She has the stubborness of a Taurus, but the rest of her is definitely Gemini. As for me, I am a Taurus, and I have all the traits of a Taurus, but when I read my horoscope, it NEVER matches me Lol. That's why I don't believe in horoscopes.
Anywho, to me it sounds like you are on the cusp, yes? No? If you ARE on the cusp you will act like both but more like one than the other.

Yes- you're a cusp sign. People born within four days of the beginning of one sign and the end of another often have traits from both astrological signs and may sometimes lean towards one more than the other (not necessarily the sign they were born under).

For those who believe in astrology, you would be considered on the "cusp", meaning you could have qualities of both Leo and Virgo. Or you could be just yourself. The Chinese assign certain characteristics based on the year you were born (Year of the Dog, Year of the Rabbit) etc. Numerologists claim the date and your name imbue you with certain characteristics. Certain personality traits are definitely genetic. But in the end, we have a lot of control over who we become, based on our character and on what we allow to motivate our actions. Our fate "lies not in the stars but in ourselves", to borrow a line from Shakespeare.

It's called being on the cusp of two signs. You will most likely be a little of both. If you're really curious about this, you could get a birth horoscope done, and that will tell you more about it.

No. The split between the signs is an imaginary line in the heavens. The sun is either on one side of it, or the other. You are either one sign or the other.
Find out your rising sign (Ascendant) and what sign the Moon was in when you were born (you have to know the exact time of your birth to do this).
Your Ascendant and Moon sign make a big difference.
