you can try putting a mesh cover over it!or some very small hole screen!or cover it will a lid if its in a container!

I know this may sound weird but it works. Use Bug Guard by Avon. It is safe to leave on because all of the ingredients are natural. You can put it on right after you shower or before you but on your clothes. This product is even safe to spray on your linen. I know somebody who sprays it on her pets and swears by it. You could also use Skin So Soft which is another Avon product.
