Because the woman has always been looked on as the nurturer. She usually has a stronger bond with the child because she has carried it and had it feed at her breast. A child is very dependent on its mother in the beginning because women have always been trained to be the most important person in a child's life.
Not that I believe that in this day and age when a woman gets pregnant, plans the birth to fit into her busy schedule, takes 6 weeks off from work, sticks the kid in day care and then blames society and our education system when it doesn't turn out right.
I'm beginning to wonder, in our present society, if it isn't because women pedophiles aren't as common as male ones.

This has been the norm for many years....but guess what? It is starting to change now.....because women are now totally in the workplace and many are now the bread-winner....And soon you will see it become a 50-50 situation....society will tend to not side with either.

This goes back to a long time ago when women didn't get educated and did not get jobs. If a woman was then divorced by her man she was totally unable to make a living for herself so this behaviour from a man was very frowned upon. If a man divorced his wife he was condemming her to the "poorhouse".

although this is unfair to the guys i totaly agree, the females are sided with the socioty cuz the guys normaly do more bad stuff then the girls. im not saying that the girls are inocent little angels but the guys could do more harm then the women.
at least thats what i think.

Usually men cheat or want out. Although, that is the norm, nowadays women also do similar things.
In my case, all our friends are siding with my husband and keep telling me to re-think.

Most of the time is because she's not the one who cheated. If that were the case, the law would be on your side.

In most cases men are abusive, cheat, drink, or find another woman because they don't know what they want, or what they want, they take and they don't care about the consequences..
