I dono either! I completly agree with you! They are ugly, but some are cute, but most are hideous! And i dono why the crap ANYONE would wanna buy a stupid purse for like thousands of dollars! I think it is jsut to look "rich" but they just don't understand noone cares what kind of purse you have.

How can all designer bags be "ugly"?? I think that designer bags (in general) are a lot cuter than non designer bags. I guess it just depends on how much you like fashion and quality. I'd rather spend more money on a handbag and have it last longer, and its good to know that its not made in some sweat shop where 10 year old kids are slaving away to make it. (At least with MOST designer things they arent made like that). It's expensive because of the quality, some Louis Vuitton bags last 20+ years.

It's a matter of personal taste. There are plenty of ugly inexpensive bags as well.
I agree with you, some are not attractive, but as a whole, they are very well made and last much longer than less expensive ones and you can find classic designs that don't go out of style in a couple of months. Clearly, if you don't get it, then you've never had one.
BTW, don't hayt just cuz u can't afford it.

They're made for the rich to show off with. No bag is worth more than $30 tops, and I have beautiful bags and none of them cost more than &20 (as well as my shoes). I get compliments all the time on them and my clothing. I own no designer clothes, but I can get the look! :-)

It depends on the designer. Some make ugly, trendy bags and others make beautiful bags in classic styles.

They're not all ugly, but I could buy a plain bag and some accesories and do the same thing to them. They're ok when you're able to afford them.

well, it was good a few years ago, but now everyone goes to China town in NY and buys the knock offs, then sell them all over the world so you never know if you are getting the real thing or not. If that is your thing, go directly to the manufacture and purchase it there. :)

I AGREE WITH YOU COMPLETELY! I would NEVER spend that much money on a bag, even if I was IN LOVE with it and the thing is, I don't even think they are remotely attractive, so I have no temptation to even consider buying one. I'm glad SOMEONE agrees with me!!

Not all of them are ugly, some of them are cool, and if you can afford them, they last a long time.. cuz they are made of good fabrics.. they last for years.. good quality.
