No computer, for one. We'd all use candles, oil lamps and cook on a fire. Summer would be unbearable with no electric fans or air conditioners.

It would be the end of the civilized world as we know it. Have you seen the chaos after a hurricane? Besides the inconvenience of no TV, air conditioning, refrigeration, etc. there are no traffic signals, pumps at gas station don't work, cell phone towers don't transmit, debit/credit cards can't be scanned, municipal water supplies don't function. City dwellers would not survive as food supplies became depleted and water was not available. Rural folks would probably be able to adapt if they were very self sufficient types and had lots of camping experience! Much of the world does not have electricity therefore is not dependent on it. A society that depends on it would collapse if electricity was suddenly unavailable.

It would be a very unstable society for all. Or even yet, what would happen if the sun ran out of its fuel? It wont burn forever. Talk about some serious chaos. Or better yet, what if the sun quit burning and we had no electricity? That would suck!

We would adapt and return to living like the pioneers.

Society as a whole would become more fit and less obese. They would have to fill their time doing things besides watching television and being on the computer.

Children would learn to entertain themselves and use their imaginations.
