Hearing sensitivity/acuity is typically equal for most people; however, the majority of humans understand speech and language better with their Right ears, because the information goes to the Left hemisphere of the brain, which is where speech/language processing occurs.

A study from somewhere...I don't remember...said that men usually hear better with their right ear, while women are more equal in hearing with both of their ears. But ti depends on other situations as well.

If you are right handed it is your right ear, if you are left handed it is your left ear.
