It's not legal.

And a woman probably can't because it's based on their male-dominated religion.

Mekeder, you need to obey your own advice and do some research. While it is correct that there is no state in the US where it is legal to have multiple spouses, this is far from saying it cannot happen anyplace.

First, since it is clear from the history of Utah that the laws on bigamy are based on religion, I expect to see it challenged on a First Amendment basis soon.

Second, many of the Indian tribes allowed bigamy, and it has been shown that state laws do not necessarily apply on the reservations, so it is possible that one of the reservations could allow it (I don't know if any do however).

Third, I am not sure about all of the US territories and possessions, such as the pacific islands like Kwajalein. I have no idea what their laws on this subject are.

And finally, and most important, there are many other nations in this world which do allow multiple spouses. I have heard that there are some of the Islamic nations which even require it, though I am not sure if that is true.

One of my big arguments in the current debate on marriages being between one man and one woman is that the people who say this are confusing their local policy and culture with natural law, which it clearly is not.

Well it's possible. Polygyny is when a man has many wives (at once) while polyandry is when a woman has many husbands (at once). It's not legal in Utah though.
Still, I must say that both occur a lot beyond how we conventionally define them, especially in America. I think that when people constantly divorce and remarry they're basically committing polygamy even though all the marriages aren't at the same time. It doesn't seem like passionate love can legitimately occur for so many people.

A man can not have more than one wife in Utah. You are only about 150 years behind the times.

Women were allowed to have more than one husband. Joseph Smith, Jr., the founder of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the process of re-translating the Bible, prayed about the polygamous practises of biblical figures such as Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. A revelation from God regarding plural marriage resulted, and a new commandment from God to take more wives. The first polygamous marriage was Smith's in 1883. About eleven of Smith's wives were also married to other men (usually other Mormon men in good standing, who in a few cases acted as a witness in Smith's marriage to his wife) at the time they married Smith. Typically, these women continued to live with their first husband, not Smith. Some accounts say Joseph may have had sexual relations with some of his other wives and one wife later in her life stated that he fathered children by one or two of his wives
In 1862 the Congress instituted the Merrill Anti- Polygamy Act and Abraham Lincoln signed it into law. Since 1904 most polygamists were excommunicated from the church. In spite of this it is estimated that there are between 30,000 to 60,000 polygamists in the Utah area. ( quotes from the following websites )

It is not legal for either situation in Utah. There was the case of Tom Green who had several wives and he was prosecuted for polygamy, even though he said he was a practising member of the Mormons.

I don't think the Women's Liberation Movement ever made it to Utah. Go figure.
