I was unaware that Americans are fearful of Canadians....if the US "obeyed" or "followed" everything Canada does, then the US wouldn't be in the unfortunate position they are now....I just wish the people of the world could learn to get along!!

I am not afraid of the big bad wolf. lol. No really, I'm not afraid of canadians. Most of my family on my m.gradmother lives in Ontario. And I married a French Canadian. The way I see it Canada is no better than America except a very painful reality. We as Americans are very obese. We need to trim down.

Why ask this question? Need examples. Are you speaking in general terms or in politics? Americans seem to think of no one but themselves. I hardly think they are even milding concerned with that Canada or Canadians do. As a Canadian living in the deep, deep, deep South, most hardly even know where the heck Canada is let alone concern themselves with us.

who ever stated anyone is fearful of canadians?
in what way does the US obey or follow canada?
wasn't it canada during the cold war crying and begging for protection by the US from the USSR?

Excuse me? Most Americans do not fear Canada or Canadians. Personally, I quite like the place and its people.
We Americans have yet to emulate the Canadian parliamentary system (IMHO, you guys done good by electing the Cons and getting Stephen Harper as PM), give an inordinate level of deference to our ethnic minorities as Canadians give to the Quebecois and the Inuit, or institute widespread socialized medicine (correction: socialized everything).
(Unfortunately, we don't have the Calgary Stampede or the beauty of B.C. either.)
We don't always kowtow to Canada.
The truth of the matter is, Canada kowtows to Great Britain!

Because Canada is an imperialist, warmongering country seeking to subjugate everyone. Plus the have a picture of the queen on one side of their dollar and a beaver on the other.

They are? Wow...why would we want to? I just want the rest of the world to know that this user doesn't represent all Canadians. If we really wanted our neighbours south of the border to be fearful of us, we'd get everybody nice and drunk...
