I agree, but I think it'll happen much sooner than 30 years...actually, India is progressing at a very fast rate right now. Check out the Time magazine article from June 29th (I think that's the date).

Japan.

It can build factories anywhere, owns the Intellectual Property and the brands, it can get the others to do the work/make the goods for it. As the owner of the products it can make the money.

Like England exploited India, Australia, Canada, US colonies etc during colonial times.

It can then sell the goods back to these countries eg China and India

It has stable western style legal system and economy. Powerful military if it needs to. Different ethos from the rest of Asia. To Japan, the rest of Asia were barbarians.

Also my vote is with Japan because the social system is not as crippling as in China or India (caste system). In China there are too many minorities which if the government gets more fliexible will try to seek autonomy. So China historically has to rule with a a little of an iron fist.

Japan is relatively homogeneous, so doesnt have the same cultural demands, and although this can be a weakness, I dont see it being so.

Not me unless there is a humane, way of cutting down the population by 66%. People who breed like pigs and rabbits will never let India become the superpower it deserves to be. If India had population today that id did in 1947, it wold be a superpower already... but the backward class and the muslims...they are populating India into a third world country.

China and Japan, yes, but I'm not so sure about India. Maybe in 60 years.

I wouldn't doubt it . When you call many insurance companies
for information , you get alot of reps out of India answering your
phone calls. Many companies have outsourced our payroll jobs
telemarketing jobs and office work to india based companies.
Factory jobs have been outsourced for years and office jobs have
gone outside of the country for the last 10 years. Alot of our
franchises here in the USA have been purchased and run by
people from India.

China already is and will continue. Japan will maintain their current status most likely, but no increase their position, and India will continue to grow but will never make due to their caste system. It will take many generations to eradicate it.

I don't think so.

As long as India keeps exporting phony gurus to other countries, no one is going to take the country seriously.

Cow worship? Come on!

Chakras? Karma? Kundalini? Puh leeze.

I love India, don't get me wrong. The music...the food...the art...the people...it's all fabulous!

It's those idiotic gurus I can't stand. They're getting rich off a nasty scam--selling God, and making it look like it's "meditation." Ugh.

No, they'll probably all die of a dimple disease like influenze or the bubonic plague.

In 30 years I'll have taken over the world so you won't need to worry about it.
