Be visible to the faculty and the students. Walk the halls, talk to the faculty and students. Listen to their ideas and suggestions, enact what you can.

Moreover, thee must also be a good co-ordination between the teachers and the Principal of the school. The staffs and the non-teaching staffs also must have respects towards the teachers, principal of the school and have affection towards the students. The Principal must at the same time have love and affection for all, but at the same time maintain discipline in school.
