I think about what I believe regularly, especially in relation as to direct my son what to believe. I like to think I am open-minded (not a racist, or evil), I don't really have a religion, but I like to believe there is "something" out there. I try not to dwell on it all and exist in the now of my and my family's happiness. My purpose is raise my son to be an outstanding person/father/husband. My goal of that keeps me going.

Most people dont see there reason for living on the earth, and most people dont do what they are supposed to do.
Why live to watch tv all summer long?
Why live to drink beer and party...this is what the people today do not seeing that the purpose of life is to attian knowledge and to make the world a better place.
I am guessing this is how it will always be. Even though you probbaly have read what i have written you or some one else will spend hours in front of the tv.
Not that i dont but i shouldnt so realy i just sit back and do what every one else does.
Sad is'nt.

I believe we're here to develop into as much of our full potential as we can - I'm trying to do that, but I've got a loooong way still to go and my time's running out fast. I'm a Theist, which means I do believe there's a Supreme Creator, but I also believe that it's impossible for humans to understand the attributes and aims of that Creator. Is there an afterlife? Your guess is as good as mine, but I figure it doesn't hurt to behave as though there is one, and, in fact, that makes life here on Earth a lot more pleasant, too.
I believe we're all a part of one another, even though we seem to be apart from each other, that when we help someone/something else, we help ourselves, and when we hurt another, it's ourselves we also hurt. I believe that all creation is joined together in a great web of being and that what we do can have consequences far beyond our perception, rather like throwing a pebble into a pond, the ripples spread outward indefinitely.

I am here participating in life to the fullest each and every day. I create goals and strive towards accomplishing them. I have dreams of bigger goals, and hope to meet those who are open to helping me acheive them. My beleifs are based on my own convictions, and am passionate about what I beleive. I am open minded enough to continue learning and enjoy the concept of it because I am enriched by sharing with other people.

We are alive to be happy!!!
Evey cell in our body lives for pleasure, and when in non-pleasure, becomes sick and dies.
The same thing applies for the infinitely small and the infinitely large.
On life-filled planets, the pacific ones survive while the violent ones destroy themselves.
So all humanities that live long enough to discover intergalactic travel are pacific and happy ones.
We are only alive to be happy and have pleasure.
A happy person doesn't try to kill others or send them bombs!

Love will always rule!

My goal is always more freedom, more options. I do what I can to promote this in all parts of my life. Financially, more money is more freedom. (politically too) Spiritually, I explore and try to learn all I can. Free your mind and your *** will follow.

Wow, I misread your question and thought it said "towards what goat" instead of "towards what goal" and sat here like an idiot thinking, "Well, are goats really THAT important to me? Do I have a preferred goat?"

The point of life is to worship God. Thats why he put us here. If you don't worship God. You're are just breathing air, and eating food and finally dying.
