Of course it is possible, I do it all the time, I go from the present to the future.. see just did it again.

Time is subjective. It is also man-made. To travel a linear manner would only allow you to go backward or forward as you would do in a car.
To visit the past (or the future), you have to travel between space and time. Something we humans are not even able to conceive or achieve yet. This may be a Subspace, extra-dimensional space or something we haven't discovered or theorized yet.
Humans should never visit the past. There is too much temptation to change something. This would cause a Butterfly Effect that may cause THIS present more problems than we perceive now.
Humans should never visit the future. There is too much temptation to "hedge ones' bet." People would go to the future just to know the winning numbers, races or other betting answers to become instantly rich. It would be like getting tomorrows' paper today.

A wormwhole can get u from one place to another it can connect 2 points and curve them to make a short path u can travel through space and time but we have not yet been able to confirm what it does with its power in the universe anything is possible. Maybe tha aliens might not be creatures from another planet but a future us that has been able to find a way to manipulate the forces of the universe.Like the other person said. I thought the same to about UFO'S 2. Space is infinity which means that it will never end and that anything can exsist. Feel free to contact me.

It is a reality. Science and government are currently working on it.
We have already proven the theory works by the use of a high flying plane with a clock on it and a clock on the ground. When matched up the one clock was .00001 of a second off.
This was released to the public back in the early 1990's so you can only imagine what the government really has by now.
Remember the stealth planes you see today were actually started back in the 1950's. So think about that.

If you're a sci-fi geek then you've seen Donnie Darko right? If not, you have to! It talks about time travel through worm holes. It's pretty incredible.

Well if we can learn to manipulate gravity on a large scale, this it possible, highly improbable. It has been theorized that the black holes gravity warps and distorts time. It would take a large amount of energy to make that much gravity so as to warp time, and if we could, would our human bodies be able to with stand the gravitational forces needed to do this? Could we even make a ship strong enough to with stand those amounts of gravitational forces. Only time will tell. Maybe UFOs are not aliens, just human time travelers from the future taking a tour.

as mobile phones and video telephony were until quite recently only sci fi geeks dream... I woldn't discount the possiblity. We need to master space travel first though.

no it's not a dream, just techincally unfeasable. Science has already created a machine (particle accelerators) to send sub-atomic particles into the future. proof of evidence can be measured in the atomic decay of the particle as compared to contol group particles not sent through the machine. problems arrize in power consumption and cost. it took several billion of our tax dollars to creat the machinery to send matter the size of atoms into the future. imagine the cost of sending something as large as a human. The idea is based on the fluidity of time and the base speed at which light travels. Personally i'm not a good enough mathmatician to make all the computations necessary nor is there enough space here to put in all into black and white. However on-going experiments seem to all run into the same problems, power consumption and efficiency.

I think it's possible. Hubby is a math geek who thinks it may already be happening. But then, we're both sci-fi lovers.

it is highly possible...actually i have been trying to figure it out myself...if we look at what we have achieved over the past century we can see that man has done things which were seemingly impossible...so i feel its only a matter of time before even time travel is made possible...
i feel that a major step in achieving this goal will be to attain speed of light on earth under controlled conditions and surpass it somehow....this could slow down time drastically and could possibly reverse it...i dont know for sure though...
another thing has to do with the frequency at which we live..if we learn to upgrade it then we might just find ourselves moving in time...
actually there have been a few discussed methods like leaking a hole in the space-time continuum or by simply changing the electro-magnetic field strength of the earth...all these are just fantasized theories and i dont know if they are possible...
time as we know it is has no definition..everything that there is,was and forever will be is wat many ppl define time as..however there are a lot of factors which can determine time like speed...but if we take time in the context of past and present it is the rotation and revolution of the earth that needs to be considered...
particle acceleration has proved to be a vital breakthrough in time travel...it could be possible that with its help we accelerate the particles around us(if it is possible) and it would carry us into the future with it!!
there is actually an instance of time travel we experience in our daily lives...for example if we take a look at a twinkling star in the night sky we dont see the way it is at the present day but in fact we see the star the way it was millions of years ago!!!..this is because the light from those stars take millions of years to reach earth...even looking at our sun is an example of seeing something from the past!!.this also somehow goes to imply that speed of time is a factor to determine time travel...
but the truth is that nobody has ever discovered what are the real factors that can cause us to surf dimensions in time..so the fact still remains that once we have done something we can never undo it...time travel is possible but we will have to wait till scientist make that crucial breakthrough..
anyway as of now it still remains a dream...but i feel its highly highly possible...
