unable to get on to yahoo chess since changing to xp have disabled pop ups still not working?

Make sure you've installed all Windows Updates via the web. Once on the Yahoo Chess site, you'll need to enable pop-ups for that site only.

As an alternative to Yahoo, try Freechess.org & babaschess.net.
