Irregular periods could mean that you have a hormonal imbalance and you need to see your doctor. Getting pregnant with hormonal problems can lead to miscarriage...epsecially if your progesterone levels are too low.

After I had my first child, I bled for a couple of months, With my second child I bled twice a month for week at a time, for a couple of months.
You should go see your doctor, they are the only ones that can give you a correct answer to wither or not you are having or had a miscarriage... I think that is why they tell you not to have sex for a while after having a child, cause one you could get pregnant again and you need to let your body heal after having a child, along with if you are breastfeeding and are pregnant it isn't fair to either child because it makes your body work a lot hard to keep just the two of you healthy let alone a third party.

You should talk to your Dr. Usually if you are having a miscarriage you will bleed very heavy with cramps but you don't always have cramps during a miscarriage.
