Ok this is ridiculous, I am the real Bongo. My U boys are preparing a law suit as I type. So Bozo and Bonster I would like to higher you as fulltime press agents. You could never make me look as dumb as I have made my self look. Good try. My wife said it best I a perfectly good Jack *** with out your help. So there. PS. The Bushes are great people except when the eat those backed beans.

According to Bono, it's mostly because his eyes are very sensitive to light. In a Rolling Stone interview last year he said, "If somebody takes my photograph, I will see the flash for the rest of the day. My right eye swells up. I've a blockage there, so that my eyes go red a lot. So it's part vanity, it's part privacy, and part sensitivity." It makes sense when you consider that someone as famous as him will be photographed pretty much wherever they go.
Also, I think the sunglasses have basically become his trademark by this point. It would be weird if he stopped wearing them.

Supposedly he can't from now on. he's admitted the fad is slightly previous and wiped out and he's calling for some thing new an distinctive. possibly it quite is a Clark Kent form of difficulty, he's quite a superhero and we do purely no longer are conscious of it till he's placing out his colors.

I think he's GORGEOUS!! He's in no way ugly and if he thinks he's ugly he's just self conscious, b/c he's in the spotlight. Michael Hutchence was one of Bono's friends and he used to be self conscious too and if you know who he is, he's fricken sexy and had no reason to be, so I think it's just the way people are, we all are self conscious. And he wears the sunglasses b/c he has sensitive eyes in the light, so he needs sunglasses or his eyes get all red and irritated. I like his glasses though.

well i wouldnt say he's ugly but dam if he looked like freddy that would be sad wouldnt it. poor freddy.........he did get hit with ugly stick didnt he. i love queen though. i also dont mind U2's tunes. Bono isnt that bad a looking i dont reckon and as for the sunnies go well i think thats a trademark image of his since they because a household name.

He's always said nice things about you. What confuses me, is why his looks are even a topic. Last time I checked he was a musician and an activist; neither professions require you to be a model.
