It would be foolish for her to turn her back on the rest of the world to solve internal problems. There are far too many external threats that must be dealt with; not just for her sake, but everyone. And, America is better off than you are giving her credit for. I can understand your dismal view of America, given the press it receives, but, if it was such a bad place, there would have been an exodus of its citizens; it's a free country. And that simply hasn't happened.

A decent question, yes, but the U.S. cannot isolate itself. When our involvement in world affairs appears to be struggling, the benefit of hindsight amplifies the cries of the nay-sayers. Think of how much more "face" the U.S. would lose if we stopping helping those who need assistance. Perhaps out of guilt at creating the best nation ever, we owe it to the world to share our success.

Thank God for the USA.
Who else has the power to combat bad ideas throughout the world? The UN is useless when it comes to force.

Let them know where u are so they wont bother helping you in time of need.

Yes we do have problems here at home and those are being addressed. We don't go looking for trouble outside our borders, but enough people sure look to us to solve their troubles.
