Who is "gandhiji"?
If you mean "Gandhi", then I'd say yes. He cared about people, regardless.

First thing freedom is always better then slavery even in its worst form. Even though our political scenario is not what our freedom fighter have vied for however it is not worse than the condition we were there. Ruler before freedom took away everything from India. Though there are critics who say India is here because of British rule as they made lot of things but those people forgets that all this growth was to establish and continue the rule and if we would have Independence early we could have reap benefit of the growth which other part of world had during that period. We certainly would have been way ahead of US and other countries which came into picture after wards and went ahead. Despite all negatives our political system we are again at a stage we are knocking door of success. So net to net even knowing that what we will be Gandhiji and all other freedom fighter would have certainly fought for freedom.

If Gandhiji knew about todays political scenario then too he would fight against freedom from Britishers.
Now it is for existing politicians to value freedom or face another revolution from present day or future activist(s) who would fight against corruption & bad practices in politics. We are facing such problems only due to lack of education & Courage.

That's a really good question. I would think, yes. he proabably would. Gandhiji had something in him that made him fight for justice. WE need people like him now, since the world isn't exactly...working...if you know what I mean? He would help us solve the problems and I really wish he were here today!

gandhiji as we knew him would have definitely fought,as he had advocated dissolving the congress party after freedom as it had attain its goal.later people started taking advantage of first their sacrifice as a freedom fighter and then for political office.it is the people whom he had given responsibility have failed, not his ideas.

Do you mean he would chose violence now? I doubt it.
And doesnt the current mess in Iraq speak out for other solutions than responding to violence with violence?
