If you are in the middle of your pill packet, you are probably around ovulation (not good if you don't want to get pregnant). You may want to consider going to get the emergency pill, but you'd have to go today or tomorrow. I suggest you call your ob/gyn.

Also, in the future, consider using condoms or spermicide in addition to birth control pills.

No. Take it now and try not to forget again. Its good to take it at the same time everyday but its not law, it will still work. I took the pill for years and sometimes would even forget for a few days. The instructions that come with the pill tell you how to get back on track if this ever happens. Not that I'm recomending missing the pill, but its a pretty good form of birth control and as long as you keep with it it will work.

Your pills should have come with a little sheet explaining what to do if you miss a pill. Depending on how many you've missed and what week of your cycle you're in, you may be okay just catching up with it now, you may need to take two pills, or you may need to start over with a new pack.

Either way, follow the directions on your pills, but if you're still worried and you miss your next period, take a pregnancy test or see your doctor.

The pill is meant to provide up ovulation, yet with the antibiotics and the ignored pills, you may have ovulated. If it became me, i'd provide up taking the pill and use a barrier sort of contraceptive, condom or diaphragm, or both, with spermicide for a lengthy time period. See the health care specialist and rule out being pregnant, and search for suggestion from from them once you should start up a sparkling %. of pills. you should use condoms till you've lengthy exceeded by potential of an entire %. of pills.

You have a slim chance. You can take an extra pill, If you miss your pill by an entire day, take 2 pills (the missed pill and the correct pill at your next usual pill time). This can cause nausea, so take them with food. Use a back-up method until you begin your period on the spacer pills.

depending on the environment in your vagina, sperm can live for a few days. there's only a few days during your cycle when you can get pregnant and it looks like you might have just missed it? but since you were late taking the pill yesterday and completely forgot it today, even if you started taking it at your usual time again you're going to want to use backup birth control for the rest of the month. unless you don't have sex for the rest of the month. birth control pills are annoying like that.

There's always a chance, even if you take it every day. But it's not too much of a bigger chance if you forgot only one day. Just take the one you missed along with the one you're supposed to take the next day and keep going. You're not supposed to need any backup protection unless you miss two days. That's a pretty standard thing, but your pills probably came with directions and you should check them to be sure.

I am not saying there is "no chance" but it is very unlikely you go preg off missing 1 pill. I am the world's worst for missing pills when I was on them. I would miss 2 days, DONT DO THAT THOUGH!! But don't worry, you will be okay.

well im not sure if you are aware of this fact or not but when taking the pill, you are automatically increasing your chance of conceiving. the pill regulates your cycle and makes you fertile. i don't mean to scare you but it is true. try reading the fine print in your pamplet. and they say if you miss a pill, double up the next day...that always made me sick. i hope everything works out for the best for you.
