Is my mother in danger of carbon monoxide poisoning??
My mom put an air conditioner in her apartment and instead of the back of it being outside she has it in a small room. I told her that carbon monixide might build up in the house. Is this dangerous???

Since there is no combustion going on in the AC unit, there is no danger of CO poisoning.

However, the AC unit will not work properly because it needs to have the back side of the unit outside in order to work properly. If the whole unit is in one room, it can't exchange heat in a way that will allow it to cool.

Electric air conditioners do not produce carbon monoxide. It will heat the smaller room and will not work efficiently.

I have to ask a better question? Do you want her to be poisoned or not? Because answering this question for you might give you ideas on poisoning her. I assume that you mightr want to do so because your lack of asking a professional.

Or you might not have thought about asking a pro...

And if thats the case, Why are you still reading this? CALL A HVAC person now!!!

Not unless it has a gas engine. But If you notice , when it runs it blows warm air out the back so it,s not just cooling the room it,s warming it up also

No;but it will tend to heat up the apt. rather than cool it because hot air is exhausted out the back of the unit.
