A good friend of mine is dating one right now. Sometimes people, particularly men, don't see through these girls' facade and fall under their "spell". It usually takes these people a while, when a major negative event happens with this person, to snap out of it.

I see your under the impression that hippies are all alike. They aren't in one major way. A hippie male is intelligent and kind to a fault. A hippie female is a pampered airhead who wants everything to magically appear and will do anything for the fun of it. I grew up in the era of free love, you either learned who to avoid or you died but kept on living. It was not a kind era. I never met anybody like what you discribe, but I do know a lot of single women with children who don't want any help. Are they perhaps the same, but with broken realities?

YES....... " And aren't abortions so very evil?" That should be your question...... It is usually that way..... When I was in high school I even had friends who got pregnant intentionally and then aborted the baby because they changed their mind after they became pregnant... One also hemorrhaged because when they aborted the baby, they did not get it all out... This happened a week after the abortion..... I also know of someone who was so far along that they had to go have something done, go back home and go back later to complete the procedure..... These kinds of people should never been able to have children ever..........
