Fundamentalist Christians are my biggest pet peeve. These are the people that claim Jews and others cannot be accepted in heaven without accepting Jesus. Without provocation, a Christian Nazi kills a Jew,who is in heaven-the Nazi or the Jew? Jonas Salk, a Jew, saved probably a million lives by discovering a cure for polio-is he not in heaven?You get to heaven by being a good person here on earth, even if you have no religion. A billion people in China never heard of Jesus-are none of them in heaven?

Except for the Crusades, which was a heck of a long time ago, don't think the Christians make me scream as much as the Muslims right now.
I don't see fundamentalist (nutcases even) going out and randomly killing in the name of Christ. Be fair now.

Anyone who closes their minds make me scream. Christians and Muslims or Atheist or Evolutionist or cosmologist, anytime you try to solve major problems and all you do is look at things from your own perspective then you come to some really sad conclusions. Unless you can completely eliminate the variable you must allways consider it.

I find any type of fundametalism highly irritating and down right dangerous and yes it is ignorance which breeds this beast. Indoctrination of the ignorant masses. The cause of millions of deaths throughout history.

Very frustrating, yes. I know people who are new-born Christians (is that the same as fundamentalists?) and they have told me that Catholics are Christian, and burned their yoga tapes and cd's and are afraid of hypnotists and that if you don't agree with their dogma you will go to hell. Scary concepts and beliefs if you ask me. And you did. Thank you.

Hell is more irritating.... if you end up there....maybe people are irritating you because they believe in God and you don't? Try being patient with people you do not agree with and listen a little more.. You owe yourself the truth about life. Just relax.

Yeah, we need like fundamentalist atheists or something showing up at people's doors in black turtlenecks and silver chains with upside-down bibles made out of human skin, "witnessing" to everyone. that ought to even out things a bit.
Or people blowing up themselves in public places shouting "Nobody akbar!"

if they would sit and truly read what the teachings tell then they would realize they realize in essentially the same thing but it comes from different books they are blinded by there own faith and it pisses me off that as a result of this the rest of use have to suffer with war and repression.

Fundamentalists period make me scream. Fundies are equal opportunity, any and all religions have fundamentalists, and they are all equally aggravating.

they do. all they're doing is perverting and quite frankly raping the basic core messages of their founders. it's no wonder so many people dislike christianity and islam, if its most vocal supporters are also the ones doing the most harm to its message.
