Change your view of studying. Many people believe that school exists to teach knowledge that will one day be useful as an adult, but that is a falacious assumption. The whole reason for studying is to learn a process of discipline that will aid you as an adult. Most adults do no not use most of the knowledge that was acquired in college and high school, but they do use the discipline they learned. Organization skills, research skills, critical thinking skills, the need to focus are all skills that are honed in school. Those who master them have an easier time in the "real world" than those who have not, because they are used in everday life. The ability to concentrate does not come naturally becuase it is not a natural occurance. What you lack is the motivation to hone atechnique which you will need as an adult, and this comes from your lack of understanding "why" you are studying. Now that you know why, you may start the process of true learning.

It is obvious to me Ahdi you need much more study time. Especially in the spelling catagory. Hope you didn't hurt yourself when you 'fell" boring to study. Recommend you not put so much effort in how you feel, but concentrate on furthering your education.

If you decide - okay henceforth I will study vigorously - it may not work all of sudden.
At all points - there will be two options before you - one way will be PREYA (immediately pleasant but long lasting benefits less or negative)- another way will be SHREYA (Immediately - not so pleasant but will be giving longlasting comforts). Try to understand it. You require SELF MOTIVATION. One can take horse to pond but one cannot make it drink water. It is " you" only who will undertstand long lasting benefits of studies and will start studying voluntarily.

Now one more point - playing and entertainment for reasonable time will add to your abilities. BRING DISCIPLINE in your life.
(i) Make out a time table and adhere to it. Donot be tempted to divert your attention to TV or other time killing things TILL YOUR GOAL OF THAT DAY ACCORDING TO STIPULATED TARGET OF STUDIES IS NOT ACHIVED.
(II)Remain with friends who are intelligent and hardworking. Good company will keep you motivated.
(iii) Review progress on weekly basis and reward yourself suitably.

Best of luck.
