the word "Breakfast" referes to the breaking of the 8 hour fast (not eating) you go through while sleeping. When awake, you eat every few hours but while you sleep you go several hours without eating, and are only burning calories while you sleep. that is why you weigh less in the morning, beacuse you have gone a long stretch of time without eating.

Unfortunately it's only an artifact of your bodily processes. Overnight your stomach empties of food as digestion continues, and your metabolism continues at a low rate, burning up carbohydrates and converting them to carbon dioxide, which you breathe out, and water, which you excrete in several ways. So, particularly if you go to the bathroom before weighing yourself, you will be at your lowest weight in the morning. Then you get up, rehydrate yourself and start eating, and immediately your weight goes back up.

Your body is relaxed by morning. That's when you should actually take a reading on your weight. And you should do it once a week. Every day you eat different things so the weight won't be consistent. Try to write it down weekly and then you can see what is your average weight.
