Oh jeez. I thought the gender separation in the question might elicit some insightful response. nyet
Men are not jealous, they are competitive. They don't want to look good, they want to look successful. Guys want the look of success or affluence. We all know, the hottest, most expensive car is in a league far beyond the very best manicure for guys, but a high maintenance woman on your arm is the very best badge of success.
Why are women jealous? Beats the heck out of me... insecurity I suppose. Maybe it's a symptom of attempting to compete while lacking the necessary testosterone fuel.

they are jeolous because the feel inadiquit. they are that way because the other person is probably in a better situation at home or at work meening that they have a better relationship with their family or a beter paying job.

It's just a feeling. Girls are jealous because they want to be prettier than all the girls. So when they see a hot guy with a girl they start thinking; what does she have that i dont or i'm so ugly.
As for guys, its the same thing but in reverse, they say things in their heads like; oh he doesn't look that cool or his girls really hot maybe i should dress like that.
People just have that feeling alot, I'm sure everyone has had that feeling at least once in their entire lives. But one things for sure...
Jealousy = DRAMA.

well people cannot see the hidden values about themselves. They always point their fingers towards others. They feel very jealous about the other gal or boy and this leads to hate among each other

i think women n men r jealouse of each other for about the same reasons,women allways want to look as beautifull as the next,men want to look better than there men friends,and we are all jealouse of each other,if we dont look as good or better,than any of our friends.

bcuz they only c wats tottally rite bout their life and they wish they were them, wen reli, thats jus a fragment of luck and everyone has their faults , mostly wen no ones around
