tried deleting it but it comes back when ya click on the favs menu again

I think it is based on when you get updates from Microsoft that are for Internet Explorer.
As a result unless you do not enable updates, (I do not suggest) the only other thing I can think of is to switch to Mozilla's Firefox.
Takes a bit of getting used to, but this is a very good browser and has a better system for bookmarks too.

Jsut got to Faviourites menu --- right click on the "Links" menu item..a pop up will be displayed ...choose delete
and tats it

i think it cant be deleted
microsoft hav done sumthing to it to keep coming back once u delete it
so use Mozilla Firefox instead of internet explorer
and become safer secured and faster of course better
