Losing your significant other to an accident. If hit on the head with a hammer --- and you have lost your significant other, the internal pain would be so intense, that you may not even feel the hammer. I hope this did not happen to you -that it is just a random question.

They both would hurt to a degree, but loosing your significant other is a hurt you would have to face every day of your life, being hit on the head with a hammer could leave you brain damaged, or dead, so none is better than the other, i dont know a difficult question.

I would say being hit on the head with a hammer.

Loosing your SO to an accident is "an accident". The pain you feel is due to your chosen reaction. Personally, if I know that person is going to heaven, I will miss them greatly, but I know I will see them again, and will look forward to seeing them again.

Being hit on the head is somewhat different. First, the physical part is just plain painful. But second, someone hated you enough to do such a thing, and perceptionally, that's quite painful as well.

Its probably more painful to have to read questions like this, but my guess would be the loss of a significant other. Hammer pain will go away relatively quickly. Heartache lasts what seems an eternity.

Losing your significant other would be most painful because it stays with you for the rest of your life whereas the pain from a hammer will go eventually.

Obviously loosing significant other! This pain is longer, though not excruciating like when hit by hammer.

for the hammer situation you always have hope to heal but losing loved one, no amount of hope will make them to come back.
