example: god is supposed to love one more if one suffers long term pain with grace. But if his love is unconditional, then what difference does the suffering make?

I don't think he loves some more than others. He loves the ones that do bad things as much as he loves the ones that do good things. I think it's the actions we do that he loves more. It's like having children. You love them all the same but you can still dislike or disagree with thier actions. It makes him sad to see people that he loves so much to do bad things! We are all his children!

Tendergoodheart...I have to disagree with you. We are all gods children. Yes we are also all his creation. But god is not about to tell us we are not his children just because we displeased him.

It doesn't make sense, does it? Nobody deserves long term suffering, and the extra "love" will have to be imagined.

how did you ever get the idea that God loves someone more than others ?

who said if someone suffers the pain longer, they will get his love more ? no bargaining, dear...

it's an unfair judgement and accusation...

God doesn't exist except in the heads of the feeble minded.

someone explained it to me this way. Say you have more than one child. One of your children is good to you respects you and does as you ask him or her to do. helps you when he/she can the other treats you like dirt, talks to you in a disrespectful way, does his/her own thing and uses you for his/her own gain with out helping out. now Though you love them both your love for the one who treats you better will out weigh the love for the other. By the way we are not all god's children. We are all Gods creation .only those who have received him as Savior are his children. i think it's only natural to love those who treat us good more than those who treat us like crap
