He already lives here in The OC (Newport Beach)...it would make sense to bring in an offensive minded coach to the country with the greatest athletes.

I hope this is a different Klinsman, maybe he is derrick klinsman and he will be coaching the US national basketball team! USA doesn't not have the greatest soccer athletes! FAR FROM IT! It would be a waste for such a talented coach to come and coach such a horrific team! he'll stay in germany!

If you have the greatest athletes why can't Roddick beat Federer (Swiss) at tennis and Federer is being labelled as the best tennis player ever.
In terms of football (ie the one you play with your feet not hands; hence the word predominante word being foot) your 11 players have never achieved anything of note in a major tournament.
Specifically with regards to Klinsman, if he wanted to go from a team with a potential to win in the future to a team with very limited potential then he'd only be doing it because of convienience and/or money, not because America has the greatest athletes!

It's still a open question if he keep on coaching the german team, but he already said he is NOT interested in coaching the US team at all.
May be, in case he decides to retire, he may coach a local team over there. But the US National Team? Dude, get real. He's not going to wreck his reputation.

He would be a great choice, and he lives in the US - but I think after the way he has made this Germany team play attractive football, and the respect he has earned doing so that he will sign a new contract with them - he must be pretty excited at the prospect of developing such a young and strong team.

Why would he want to coach the world's crappest team? just because his missus is american? I really hope he stays in Germany as he is the only man who can bring germany back to its glorious days... who cares about america?? if he does coach the hicks then it is a sad day for football and everybody who loves the sport. and YES it is called football not your that wanna be rugby you lot play...
