a nasty, what I call a utility bra, you know, basic white and the straps are all dingy and hanging out- or no bra at all and they need it.Has no one heard of a strapless bra these days? Do these women know this looks bad?
Of course, I live in a fashion challenged town, I mean I've seen a few in tube tops also sporting the "utility bra".Also, don't you think sheer shirts deserve a pretty, lacy bra?
Sorry, I'm ranting...lol. But, what DO you think?

Well, most women over a small c-cup need support. I'm not talking about teenagers or very young women in their 20s, I am talking about women who no longer have the perky breasts of their youth and should be old enough to know better.

Yep, I agree. Buy at least one "to be seen in public" bra. Or better yet, COVER UP! Every day in yokelsville I see women who don't own mirrors... or a decent bra! Goodness me girls, save your drinkin money for one week and buy one!

Now see what you started! Your town is not fashion challenged at least some women wear bras . Here in Fla we have some of the first implant survivors! And yes they do eventually sag down to your navel.EEEEEWWWWW .Good luck with your cause I think an appropriate bra for the clothes you are wearing should be a law!

I TOTALLY agree. Ghetto with a capital "g." People do that where I come from also. I just don't understand it. I would never, ever do such a thing.

What I also don't understand is when people go around with a short shirt and low-cut pants and their stomachs are hanging out between the two (i.e. they don't have the figure to wear such clothing). I do have the figure to wear such things, by the way, but I don't, b/c I have the fashion sense to know that sometimes, less is more ;)

Why MUST a woman wear a bra... but, if one does wear a bra, it should be appropriate for her outfit. I hate a wider strap appearing under a spaghetti strapped top.

Sheer shirts would look better with a camisole under it than a bra, lacy or not.

I agree with you. People should really consult the mirrior before they leave the house. Women need to pay more attention to wearing clothes that fit properly and accentuate the positives. I am totally against the need to conform to the Hollywood body image culture, but a person should pay attention to what really looks flattering on them. Sorry I rambled. Hey ladies, pick a bra that actually works with the top you are wearing. Thanks.

I think you are right! It is a big fashion trend to have the "layered look", but tacky is tacky! Should we get started on the low pants, short top, and the roll in the middle?
