sounds like your plug coming away. Are you still contracting? If you are I would suggest going back to hospital and telling them that you are to have a c-section if you go into labour. If the contactions have stopped, then if you can, wait until your OB comes back from vacation. Do you have a date scheduled for your c-section?
Ultimately, if you are still contracting then go back and tell them you are not to try for a vaginal delivery and they will have to give you an emergency c-section ahead of schedule.

This mornings discharge could have been the mucous plug, which yes, that would mean that labour is soon to come. If your ob is on vacation, I would see if you can get int to see another ob soon. Get your medicasl records to take to him if possible, so he can see information regarding your c-section.

I was dilated 1cm for over a week and my best friend lost her mucus plug about three weeks before she gave birth. Just listen to the doctor (there should be one filling in for your regular doctor) or nurses.

Sounds like you lost your mucous plug. You can go into labor immediately after losing it, or like me, go into labor a month later. I was also dialated 1 cm when I lost my mucous plug. I had a couple of contractions the night I lost my mucous plug, then they went away.
