are you applying for jobs you have experience in? look at how you're coming across to employers. have a look on http://www.connexions-direct.com/index.cfm?pid=65 for some guidance, then search for jobs in your area on http://www.connexions-direct.com/index.cfm?pid=72®ionID=5&serviceID=0#office_30 and http://jobcentreplus.gov.uk/ and try having a wander round your area and going into the recruitment agencies or seeing if places have anything advertised.

i spent ages trying to find a job and it was the most frustrating thing in the world, but you'll get there - let us know how you get on, best of luck! :o)

No one is ever USELESS! Just looked at ukjobs.com. There's a listing for collections advisor. No experience needed. May not be the ideal job but it's income, training and something to do until something else is located and something to fall back on. You also might try child care or assisted living. Working with children and elderly can be very rewarding and theraputic for both you and them. Also gives you great respect for what those age groups experience. Good Luck and keep pushing.

Cafes, restuarant, fast food outlets, pubs clubs and bars, are almost always recruiting. Some of the most fun I ever had working was at a nightclub behind the bar. Hours were rubbish though!

i'm sure you are a nice person and you are very able to get a job. i would employ you, it takes guts for you to come on here and ask a question like this and i respect you for it. if you apply for a job you are bound to get it, put your cv on http://www.monster.com or go to the job center, or you could even look in the paper. the best of luck to you, i hope you find what you are looking for.

Why don't you try applying for one instead of wasting your time on the Internet?
