I believe that what the government said happened during 9/11 isn't exactly what happened!
What I do know, if you go look at the picture of the Airbus a 310, which crashed after slamming into a cement barrier and some houses you will recognize the whole tail section and both engines, plus other large parts.
A 10 ton 757 which hit the pentagon, which is twice as big as an A310, had no recognizable parts, and You could not see that 1/2 football in length aircraft in any of the film that has been released

Yes, Conspiracy theories are conspiracies in themselves to stop the truth. War for oil is one. It has been proven that everything that was said to be in iraq was there, and that Bush did not attack for revenge of sept 11, but there is a conspiracy to cover it up, since it is obvious that some people are recieving a great amount of power through supporting some conspiracy theories.

There are some really wacky liberal beliefs that our own government was behing 9-11 which is truly idiotic. The Islamic fascists are responsible and I will never forget that! As far as conspiracy's , I would say the assassination of JFK really was a conspiracy!

Maybe one or two. But not very elaborate ones.
Read a book called: The 60 greatest conspiracies of all time by Jonathan Vakin and John Whalen.
If you are into this kind of stuff, you will love this book.
