I don't think there's a need to do that. We produce our own variety of beers which are the best in the world, and more over, we still import beers from other countries, just to provide a wider variety of choices eg Fosters from Australia, Amstel from Holland, etc. If you insist that you want to bring your own, please feel free to do so but check first with your airline.

Why would you? SA has, among others, the second biggest beer brewery in the world and beer is really cheap. So is wine and brandy (compared to many other countries).

There is some good beer in SA. I use to drink Castle.
You should check and see what you can bring back.

Not entirely sure, but forget beer... they make their own great wine! Try the reds!
