when i was pregnant my babys father wanted me around and now that i had the baby 5 months ago its like he dont want me to come around anymore.........why is that?

Being a man myself, I feel authorized to answer this for you... Men are stupid. At least when it comes to relationships...we're good at lots of other things, but understanding women is NOT one of them. Of course women don't make it very easy for us to understand you, but... Knowing nothing about your relationship except for presuming you arent married and don't live together, it sounds like he's just not sure what he wants, and maybe thinks he needs to "check his other options" before he's ready to be more comitted. Of course I'm probably wrong, because as I said, men are stupid, but if I'm close to right about that, I might also be close to right that if you act really needy and or demanding, it will just push him away, and don't use the child to make him be with you, but for the kids sake too, just encourage him to spend time with his child.

Maybe you did no have a healthy relationship prior to the baby. Now he sees , possibly support money, babysitting responsibilities etc. --he may not see you for seeing the baby issue first--Something like having a toothache and not thinking of anything else.
If you haven't already, you need to talk to him about future responsibility, money help, other assistance. Your child deserves this--maybe legal help if necessary.

Because, sweetie, you were easy and he does not respect you! Having a baby out of wedlock is just not cool! Now, you are stuck and he will be on to greener pastures! Straigten your life out without him.....move on and have some self respect instead of sleeping around!

i hate to be the grim reaper but here goes. he stayed with you at first out of obligation, or he may have been pressured by parents and friends but now that the kid is here it sounds like he has gone on vacation with someone else.
