they are for people to waste time with. a bit like us on this web site asking questions. lol. also to waste the parents money.

I like neopets, I like it because we don't have room for a real pet and so my son has something to look after, something that won't make a mess on the carpet!!! I've got a neopets account too. They do make money from advertisements placed on their site and from all the merchandise they sell.

they have products, like stuffed animals and other stuff that they sell. They even have a General Mills cereal called Neopets Islandberry Crunch! Also, they get money by letting other companies advertise on their website. There's a whole catalog!

They probably get revenue from advertisements posted on their site. I am not sure though because I have never visited Neopets before and I'll be dammed if I am going to find out for myself.

they sell merchandise like chias, blumaroos and all that crap.
neopets is a good site to play games otherwise i dont see the point in feeding your pets - omelettes and reading them books and grooming the hair and stuff like that.

I don't see the point either. Beats me. Money for old rope. If people are out there prepared to pay then of course there's business to be made. How exactly though is a mystery to me too.

coz the website persuades u to buy things and coz of the Internet and phone and electricity bills but our Internet is not connected to the phone so Na na neopets nasty no good stupid websites its the same with tamagotches

They sell merchandise and also..advertising space.. viacom bought them out ages ago.. they do promotions in McDonalds etc... and sell their merchandise in different stores..
