i need help, my computer's air vent makes really loud noises sometimes, and i can hear it when i'm out the door. i don't know why it is happening, can anyone tell me how i can stop it from making such loud noises??

and i know that its not the fan.. its the thing above it.. but i dunno what.

Sounds like you may have a defective cooling fan inside the unit. Or there could be an object such as a wire contacting the fan blade, "baseball card in the bicycle spokes" style. Having bought this so recently, it should have a warranty. I would get it looked at.

sounds like it may be your Fans. Don't know how long you had your system but when they start to wear out, they make noise. You may have to replace them with new fans. They have nice quite fans on the market now you can install yourself. And you can use a silencer under your new fans to help stop the vibrations caused by your fans.

u use the active cooler, yeah it is a FAN. it makes loud voice.
u can change the fan into a low noise fan or the passive FAN.
The passive fan ussualy be in ur mother board.

it formed by some metals. or try to change ur hd cable to reduce hot in ur pc so the fan not always spinning.

You sould try to clean it, or maybe it's too old so replace it!
