Internet is about porn because it is convenient and easy to use and the demand for sex is one of the highest levels of Maslow's hiearchy of needs. Men think about sex all the time. The drive to reproduce or go through the motions is one of the most urgent instincts in the human population. Women's impulse isn't near as urgent and, therefore, don't understand why there is so much porn on the internet and why access is so easy. If kids experiencing sexual depictions on the internet bothers you. Do some parenting and don't let them cruise the internet alone. Just because a thirteen year old knows how to drive doesn't mean they should be allowed to do it alone. Don't be angry when life happens and your kids are there to see it. Restrict their access and explain the things that they see when your not around. The internet is roughly a compilation of all the experiences, opinions, and good and bad habits that the world has to offer. It has what your looking for but also what your not looking for. Think about it.

You may choose chat rooms that aren't porn oriented or get yourself a popup blocker and turn it on so that you don't have to see those things. So far as respecting kids...they see more than you and I do as adults. The levels of exposure to what you or I may find offensive would shock you. Bottom line is POPUP BLOCKER and try to stick with generic chat sites. FYI this is basically a Chat site...I don't see much porn in here. PEACE!

Because of all the things that adults & children are exposed to today, and the fact that their parents don't tell them it's wrong. Young girls end up thinking that sex is a way to attract a mate when it should be your brains & sense of humor.So they get on line & say these stupid immature things to people they don't even know. Then parents wonder how these predators are getting ahold of their children. When they themselves haven't governed what their children are doing on line.
