AVAST is the best among the free softwares... I've been using it for 1 year and it is just hasslefree and too good...I use the internet widely and still avast has protected my comp....I've had a lot of problems with Norton and Mcafee before...

www.avast.com
you just have to register after you download...the registration is free...give an automatic update instruction and be assured that your comp is protected...

KASPERSKY Antivirus 6 is the best ! If you are looking for high security and best performance ... It detects all viruses, spywares and all potential dangerous programs better than others ! I used all famous antivirus programs for at least 1 month, kaspersky is the best !
