Where are some of the best night clubs, bars, etc. to visit in Tokyo for a single guy? I'm staying in Shijuku, but can get around.

Drift racing is done in the mountains miles from Tokyo, and anyway how is that related to nightclubs and bars suitable for a single guy?
And what is "cluds Granny Fokos"?

Not sure what exactly you're looking for in terms of style, music, etc., but as a general rule, avoid Roppongi in favor of places in Aoyama, Jingumae and Nishi Azabu. Plenty of fun stuff around Shibuya and Shinjuku, too.

Shibuya for the younger crowd.
Roppongi has lots of clubs but I dunno if you want to hang out with English speakers. But if you just wanna party I suggest Roppongi. Go around 9:00PM - early morning on any night of the week and there'll be enough to do.
911, Lexington Queen and One-eyed Jack is some of the places I went to regularly in Roppongi.

I like the dining bars in Shimokitazawa myself. I guess it depends on whether you like your nightlife tasteful or "skanky". Try Roppongi for some skank. You can get everything from a live sex show to chamber music in Tokyo..it just depends on your tastes.
