An experiment conducted by Dr. Duncan McDougal, and reported in "American Medicine" journal, proved that there is a specific loss of 3/4th of an ounce at the precise second of death. Using accurate scales, Dr. McDougal proved that something weighing 3/4th oz. immediately escapes the human body in patient after patient. The experiment ruled out this weight loss being due to loss of moisture or breath, and proved itself repeatedly. The same experiment conducted on dogs did not show any weight loss at the point of death.

Yes. We are three-part beings: body, soul and spirit, made in G-d's image. Our spirit is the energy that leaves the physical body upon death. Whether one has made the choice to follow after the Living G-d will determine where our individual energies end up.

Quran says that it is the Order of the God (Alalh, Al= the Ilaha = God, In Arabic it is Allah). This is the area where you simply can't debate because the knowledge given to man is too meager like a drop in the ocean. Quran stops us in debating such matters because you simply do nto have enough knowledge to begin debate or discussion. Quran says that those who have disease in thei r heart spend a long time in debating these issues. The Arabic word for soul is Rooh which makes a person alive and alert at human level,. It is simly not life. Quran says that We (Teh God,m royal we), take out the soul during sleep and return it back in when person wakes up. So it mean conscious, understanding mind. Allah knows the best. WHen a pesron dies, it is taken out. Thsoe who are destiend for hell, theri soul is taken out with lot of misery and pain e.g. World number 1 Terrorist Aerial Sharon who is in between life and death adn those are destined fo rheaven their souls are taken out very easily without much pain
