Yes, and I thought it was going to get interesting with the mask scene, but jit ust turned out to be more of the same. This happens when two overinduged stars get caught up with a director who is past his prime and all of them believe that they can create a piece of great art on film. Instead, you get a mish-mash like "Eyes Wide Shut."

Not only were there several story lines there that seemed to hold some promise that seemed to be abandoned mid-film by Kubrick, the whole of the film made no sense at all.

It turned out to be something that Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman can tell their grandchildren about - that they got to make the last picture with Stanley Kubrick that he ever made.

I would recommend some of Kubrick's classics like "Full Metal Jacket" and of course his masterpiece "2001: A Space Odyssey." "Eyes Wide Shut" will go down in cinema history as his last film and that's about it.

With my eyes wide shut.

Boring, poorly acted and had all the erotic appeal of a catbox.

Tom and Nicole were tepid and uninspired and the movie was Kubrick showing off.

Oh yes. Have been a big Kubrick fan. The movie makes you think if you are in a relationship. Teaches a good lesson. Indulge yourself in your partner's life and discuss your dreams/fantasies.
