If you dont want teen mums on benefits and free houses etc why not encourage abortions instead of insiting they have the kids, withotu telling them the small print like they can't do parties and clubbing and social life etc...


you can't complain anbout teen mums wanting to axct their age and do things others their age do when you made them have the kid instead of getting rid of iot like nothing happened...


Likewise is it not thwe anti abortionists that wont let graphically explicit sex ed, condom machines in secondary schools, morning after puills available in schools and elsewhere for free, and complain against suggestions to put teen girls on the pill...


So there fault the needed the abortion in the first place, which you stopped then complain about them getting on benefits, houses and wanting to be irresponsible... er teenagers. not supposed to be responsible.

So Why not make better sex ed, contraception, MA pills and if it fails encourage abortion not having kids?

Well I think contraception is the key....because no mattter how much education you try to give them, they will just do what they think they have to do, even though they are far too young.
Sadly, sex for many young people now is just an act...it has no real meaning (what a shame)
Put all girls on the injectable form of contraception...no pills to have to remember to take. Educate them to never do it without a condom being used! I think the morning after pill is a good idea...why not? its not abortion, just peace of mind.
In Australia, the government now gives AU$4000 for every new baby born. Thats completely crazy and just encourages young girls to get pregnant, making adoptions very rare.
You cannot force or encourage abortions..not in a civilized society.
Prevention is the only real answer....contraception or abstinence.

First of all, not all teens are irresponsible, contrary to most of your beliefs. Some teens actually understand the risks and are careful, but still accidents happen! I don't know any teen that has kids to get free houses or anything like that. You can't force girls to take the pill, that's just plain immoral! Everybody has the right to choose what they want to do, wether that be taking the pill and being protected from becoming pregnant or not. In my case, I believe that killing an innocent soul just cuz you screwed up is just plain wrong. The only way I support abortions is if the pregnancy will put your health in danger or if it the pregnancy is due to rape. But, that's my opinion- everybody has the right to have their own opinion and their own views on the topic. I just don't think you guys should be saying that all teens are irresponsible.

Promoting protection in school is just like promoting under age sex. It is unacceptable to be allowing this to go on. It should not happen period... Parents can only do so much to keep their children safe, if they wanna go out and have sex they will anyway they can.

It's the children who should be made responsible. If they are grown up enough to have unprotected sex then they should be made aware that they equally should be responsible to bring these babies up. The reason why they get pregnant so early on is because they all think that thats their only vocation in life, they cant see how they can do anything else... they also think children are sweet quiet little things.

Why not simply learn to say 'no'. Abstinence works, there isn't anyone, even teens, who aren't able to do this, and it shows how mature and sensible you can be rather than being pressured by peers to participate in something that holds such serious consequences. Sex education is essential, schools have a duty to provide this and they should be more efficient at this, but so do parents, so it's adults who are failing the teens. If in doubt, cross you legs and say 'no' and don't be intimidated by the idea that all your mates are having sex, coz actually most of them won't be even if they say they are!
