Because Joe Lieberman is a Republican masquerading as a Democrat. He is more Republican than some Republicans. He should just become one and be honest with us all.

He does represent the views of his constituency. Like most of the country, they agree with Bush. The problem is that the democrats no longer represent the views of their contituency in general. This has had dramatic implications for their viability as a party. A recent poll showed that less than 10% of voters would vote for any of the major democratic candidates in an election. Al Gore topped the chart at 9%. Most others were significantly lower than that. Because the dems have been so taken over by the radical left, the majority of their constituents will not support them any longer. Lieberman is only reflecting the will of his constituents to no longer be associated with the dems.

Quite frankly, he should switch parties. There was another notable democrat who switched parties and went on to great success in politics, once he hooked up with the people who matched his politics and that of his constituents.

His name was Ronald Reagan.

Joe Lieberman is not my favorite democrat. Frankly there is no such thing as a favorite or even a good one. I should not say that, that's mean and I'm not a mean person, but Ronald Reagan was a great man and was a democrat until he found out what he believed was what republicans believe. I feel if people actually knew what each party stood for most would call themselves Republicans. I was a democrat for the longest time until I learned what each stood for and low and behold I'm actually a Republican.

Joe Lieberman is one of the most truthful politicians out there today. He seems to look at things from both points of view and makes up his own mind. Joe is the best chance the Democrats have because the republicans like him.

Senator Lieberman made at least 4 trips to Iraq and saw for himself the job we are doing over there. I believe he has too much integrity to lie about it. Just to stay buddies with his fellow Democrats.

Joe Lieberman is a "Zellout" . Once he puckered up to Bush's butt, he was finished. Neocons call him their "Favorite" Democrat, which should say it all.
